These reports, the third in the series, were released after the event on 23rd November 2007 at the Town Hall in Murray Bridge.  The focus of these reports is on the Tourism, Accommodation and Housing sectors.

The aim of the Headline Analysis, the subject of this report, was to provide estimates of the regional economic impact in the Murraylands of a range of scenarios for the Tourism sector across the region.

The aim of the RIO Sector Analysis, the subject of this report, was to provide analysis of a major industry sector. This report provides estimates of regional economic impact of housing growth in the Murraylands at its current (2006/07) level and of two alternative growth scenarios.

The aim of the Standard Economic Analysis, the subject of this report, is to present a statistical summary of key economic and social information for the Murraylands region and South Australia (SA).

This report brings together a wide range of existing Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and some non-ABS data and has been designed, at a broad level, to assist  users of regional statistics to understand the composition and economic and social structure of the region, to understand how the Murraylands region contributes to the state’s economy and to help monitor the trends in economic growth or decline. Most data are presented for the Murraylands region and for SA as a whole for the purpose of comparisons.
