These reports, the fourth and final in the series were released after the event on 19th June 2008 at the Big W Southern Distribution Centre in Monarto. The focus of these reports is on the Transport, Recreation and Retirement sectors and a special report for the Education Sector.
Education Analysis June 2008
The aim of the Education Analysis, the subject of this special report, was to highlight the impact of developing an education precinct in the Murraylands Region. A number of separate analyses were undertaken to highlight the various aspects of the education development, namely:
- the economic impact of capital development relating to expansion and construction of education facilities;
- the economic impact of an increase in education delivery to local students and the local workforce; and
- the economic impact of education delivery to international students.
Headline Analysis June 2008
The aim of the Headline Analysis, the subject of this report, was to provide estimates of the regional economic impact in the Murraylands in 2007/08 of a range of scenarios relating to the further development of the Monarto intermodal road/rail facility.

Economic Analysis June 2008
The aim of the Standard Economic Analysis, the subject of this report, is to present a statistical summary of key economic and social information for the Murraylands region and South Australia (SA).
This report brings together a wide range of existing Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and some non-ABS data and has been designed, at a broad level, to assist users of regional statistics to understand the composition and economic and social structure of the region, to understand how the Murraylands region contributes to the state’s economy and to help monitor the trends in economic growth or decline. Most data are presented for the Murraylands region and for SA as a whole for the purpose of comparisons.
