The Mallee Prescribed Wells Dairy Feasibility Project provides an expanded and strategic summary of the scope for the establishment of dairying in the Mallee Prescribed Wells Area which includes the Southern Mallee Region.

This report looks at the Economic Impact of reduced water allocations in the Southern Mallee area.

This paper has been prepared to identify the current value of horticultural industry sector within the Southern Mallee and provide some analysis of the likely economic impact that reduced horticultural production will have if water extractions are reduced due to the conversion from hectare based allocations to volumetric allocations.
