PIRSA Regional Food ScoreCards estimate the value of the agriculture, food and beverage industries to the State’s regions at each stage along the value chain, from production through consumption.

The ‘headline’ ScoreCard measure, Gross Food Revenue, is an estimate of the contribution made to the region’s economy by the food and beverage industries at the point of final export or local consumption.

Regional ScoreCard information assists in developing an understanding of the role the food industry plays in our regional economies. The information can also help identify existing and emerging regional production capabilities and opportunities.
