Regional Investment Opportunities (RIO)
The RIO Project has been funded by Commonwealth, State and Local Government and the MRDB. Funding partners include the Department of Transport and Regional Services, Office of Regional Affairs and the 5 regional councils.
The RIO Project will be delivered in 2 stages:
- Stage One - Research, consultation, planning and design
- Stage Two - Marketing
What is a Regional Investment Prospectus?
A proactive investment marketing document that identifies:
- targeted or preferred industries
- precincts for development
- complimentary industry arrangements
- identified opportunities
- available infrastructure to support targeted development
