Employment & Training
The South Australian Works in the Regions program is a State Government program funded by the Department of Further Education Employment Science
and Technology (DFEEST).
Employment and Skills Formation (ESF) Networks have been established across the state to facilitate partnerships and engage the broader community in developing a strategic approach to identifying and overcoming local employment and training issues.
By working in partnership with all levels of government, industry and the community, South Australia Works programs expand and improve South Australia's productivity while meeting and enriching the learning and work needs of individuals.
The program has specific areas of focus, including mature aged people, Indigenous people and young people. It also works with identifying new employment and training possibilities in industry, help people train and work in the public sector as well as learning opportunities for individuals in their communities.
